According to WHO’s report 2015-16, India has been suffering from scarcity of potable water for the last few decades. And the saddest part of it is, most people neglect the fact. One way to cut down the wastage of water is to stop the shower while you are soaping up. Then turn it on after rinsing. Taking a shorter shower saves about 45 gallons of water in every minute. And a four minutes shower uses approximately 20 to 40 gallons of water. Moreover, it should be better to use a container to hold water while you are bathing.
Water your garden with a watering can instead of hosepipe. Use of a watering can saves water 1000 litters of water every minute. Mulching and watering your plant regularly early in the morning and late evening help you reduce evaporation and also save water.
